MACARONI DANDY SALAD

8 oz. (2 cups) elbow macaroni
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. celery seed
1 tomato, diced
1 cup diced celery
1/2 cup diced green peppers (optional)

Cook macaroni as directed; drain. Rinse with cold water; drain again.

Mix mayonnaise with lemon juice, salt and sugar. Combine with macaroni, celery see, tomato, celery, and peppers. Chill for a few hours.

Makes 6-8 servings

MACARONI SALAD

1 (16 oz.) box elbow macaroni
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 cup diced celery
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 small jar green olives, drained
2 tbsp. minced onion

Cook macaroni according to directions on the box. Drain. Rinse in cold water.

Combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, sugar and celery seed.

Add the rest of the ingredients to the macaroni after slicing the olives in half. Mix well.

Pour mayonnaise mixture over all and mix well. Chill.

MACARONI SALAD
Makes 6-8 servings

8 oz. elbow macaroni
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. celery seed
1 tomato, diced
1 cup diced celery
3 tbsp. chopped pimento
2 tbsp. chopped green or red pepper or both

Cook macaroni as directed; drain. Rinse with cold water; drain.

Mix mayonnaise with lemon juice, salt and sugar. Combine with macaroni, celery seed, tomato, celery, pimiento, and peppers. Serve on salad greens.

MACARONI SALAD

1 pint salad dressing
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/3 cup lemon juice
3 tbsp. mustard
6 hard cooked eggs
1 lb. macaroni, cooked
Onion, celery, carrot as desired

Mix first 4 ingredients while macaroni and eggs are cooking.

Drain macaroni. Peel and dice eggs.

Add macaroni and eggs to dressing mixture. Refrigerate to chill thoroughly.
