I hope you get more comments - I'm hoping to have a casino party for DH's 50th in a couple more years. I'm checking into local rental companies that might have setups such as a roulette wheel. I'm also thinking about hiring some local college kids to act as croupiers or dealers. My ideas are sort of scattered all over right now, since I still have plenty of planning time. I'm going to specify dress as "casual glam" and encourage people to wear some bling with their jeans. I'm hoping to pick up some feather boas and fake jewelry cheap after Halloween this year, to pass out to people who don't wear any glamor items, or maybe to decorate (can you picture round tables with piles of play money and fake gold necklaces in the centers?)

I recently attended a Texas Hold'em party, where I recognized decorations from the Oriental Trading Company catalog - the site for that was mentioned in one of Gina's fabulous responses to another post below, maybe Betsy can transfer that here? It's a great source for decorations and goodie bag items. The hostess served a Mexican lasagne and other southwestern foods.

I'd still love to hear from other posters, if anyone has more ideas. Gina, are you reading this?!!
