Recipe: found some cookie and craft recipes

Misc.

Found some ideas to use with the Longaberger cookie molds which should work with ANY mold.
Cookies: use your favorite sugar cookie or almond cookie recipe. Stiff dough works best. chill Doug for easier molding. Spray cookie mold lightly with PAM. Starting at one side, press dough firmly into mold, adding more dough as needed. Be sure to level the back. Gently begin to peel the dough out at the top or bottom. Place on a cookie sheet and bake per the directions of your cookie recipe
Chocolate: place the cookie mold in freezer for approx. 20 min. Melt 4 squares of chocolate in microwave in a small mixing bowl. Spray mold with PAM then pour melted chocolate into chilled mold and place back in freezer for another 20 minutes or until chocolate is set. The chocolate should fall out of the mold when turned over. you can also use colored chocolate to decorate the details of the various molds. Apply with a paintbrush or toothpick. be sure and let each color set before using another color in the same mold.
Cinnamon ornaments - mix thoroughly 1 cup applesauce and 1 to 1 1/4 cups cinnamon
Press mixture firmly into lightly greased mold and smooth off back.Turn mixture out of mold onto cookie sheet and bake at 150 degrees for 3 hours. They will shrink while baking and smell wonderful.
I also have recipes for the salt dough decorations, bees wax decorations and paper ornaments if you are interested.
