To freeze the top of a wedding cake or other frosted cakes. Place in the freezer UNCOVERED for 24 hours to freeze, then wrap in several layers of plastic wrap and then in 2 layers of heavy duty foil..put back in freezer. Use a year later and it tastes as if it was just baked. When defrosting remove foil and plastic wrap and LIGHTLY cover, so as not to remove frosting. It has worked for many of my families wedding cake toppers. Good Luck
