Recipe: Freezing Fresh Herbs in ice (for storage)

Misc.
I think this hint came from a Safeway Select magazine.

"Fresh herbs give the best flavor to dishes, but they cost more and you rarely get the chance to use up whole bunches before they spoil. To get better returns on your herb investments, try preserving them in ice. Fill regular ice-cube trays with extra chopped herbs, add a little water, and freeze. When the cubes are solid, store them in heavy resealable plastic food bags labeled with the name of the herb. Use them later in cooked dishes where the cubes' minimal water content won't affect the recipe."
