Recipe: Fried Vermicelli with XO Sauce
Misc.FRIED VERMICELLI WITH XO SAUCE
600g(21 1/2oz) vermicelli
1/2 onion
5pcs Chinese dried mushroom
150g(just over 5oz) fresh pork
5tbsps(6tbsps+2tsps) Lee Kum Kee XO sauce
1tbsp(4tsps) soy sauce
1tbsp(4tsps) water
1tbsp(4tsps) oil
Soak mushrooms 30mins in warm water & drain. Blanch vermicelli in boiling water untill loosened. Rinse with cold water, drain & set aside. Cut pork, Chinese mushroom & onion into shreds. Saute shredded pork in oil until fragrant. Add onion & Chinese mushroom, stir well. Add remaining ingredients & stir-fry till sauce dries up. Serve.
