Recipe: Frozen Fruit Salad (Campfire Miniature Marshmallows bag recipe, 1960's)
Salads - Fruit, GelatinCAMPFIRE MARSHMALLOW FROZEN FRUIT SALAD
1 (3 ounce) package cherry-flavored gelatin
3/4 cup boiling water
2 containers (8 ounces each) cherry yogurt
2 cups Campfire Miniature Marshmallows
1 cup halved seedless green grapes
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1 cup (1/2 pint) whipping cream, whipped
In, large mixing bowl, dissolve gelatin in 3/4 cup boiling water. Stir in yogurt, marshmallows, grapes and nuts; fold in cream. Turn into a lightly oiled 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Freeze 4 hours or until firm. Remove from freezer 15 minutes before, serving. Slice and serve. Return leftovers to freezer.
Makes 12-14 servings
