Recipe: Party Casserole (using crab and broccoli, Bisquick recipe, 1970's)

1 pkg (10 oz) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
1 (7 1/2 oz) can crabmeat, drained and cartilage removed
1 (10 1/2 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
FOR THE TOPPING:
1 cup Bisquick baking mix
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
3 tbsp boiling water
Heat oven to 450 degrees F.
Spread broccoli in ungreased square pan, 8x8x2-inches; set aside.
Mix crabmeat and (undiluted) soup; pour over broccoli.
Heat in oven while preparing topping.
Combine (dry) baking mix and butter in small bowl. Add 3 tablespoons boiling water; stir vigorously until dough forms a ball and cleans the bowl (dough will be puffy and soft.)
Drop dough by spoonfuls onto hot mixture, spreading to cover.
Bake 15 10 20 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
Makes 6 servings
