Recipe: Fruity Cheese Ball

Appetizers and Snacks
This isn't for banana split cheese ball, but I don't see why you couldn't replace the vanilla pudding mix with banana pudding mix. Replace the fruit cocktail with crushed pineapple and some cherries. And instead of nuts use cookie crumbs.

Fruity Cheese Ball

16 oz. cream cheese
1 lb. can fruit cocktail, drained and chopped
chopped nuts
1 pkg. French vanilla instant pudding (or regular vanilla with several drops extract)

Mix all ingredients together. Form into a ball. Roll in chopped nuts. Refrigerate several hours. Serve with vanilla wafers. Ideal for a party.
