Recipe(tried): Gooey Shoe Fly Pie

1 cup molasses; 1/2 cup brown sugar; 1 tsp. soda dissolved in 1 cup hot
water; 3 eggs. Beat eggs, add the sugar and molasses, when the water has cooled add to egg mix.

Mix together 2 1/2 cups flour; 1/3 cup lard, crisco, or oles; and 1 cup brown
sugar until crumbly.

In an unbaked pie shell, pour half the molasses mixture, add half the crumb mix and repeat.

Place in a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes, reduce heat to 350 and bake for 50 minutes.
