This flan is from the Philippines. It is very rich and creamy. I don't know if this is the one you are looking for, but here it is and enjoy! Sue

Leche Flan

1 c. sugar
8 egg yolks
2 egg whites
2 cups evaporated milk
2 Tbsp sugar

Caramelied 2 Tbsp sugar by stirring continuously over medium heat until melted. Pour into flan mold (I use a round cake pan sometimes). Tilt the mold pan to cover the sides up to two inches high.

Beata the yolks and whites slightly. Add milk and sugar. Strain and pour mixture into the caramel-lined flan mold. Place pan in another bigger saucepan filled with 1- inch water. Bake until the mixture becomes firm approx 30-40 minutes at 350 degree oven. When done, slightly brown top by placing it under broiler for few seconds. Cool before removing flan from mold by inverting it.
