Recipe: Homemade Mayonnaise

Misc.

I won't do a plain mayo since one was posted. Here are some flavored ones I came across - enjoy.

Cranberry Mayonnaise

1/2 cup mayo
1/2 cup cranberry jelly
1/4 cup cream, whipped

blend mayo and jelly well; fold in stiffly whipped cream. serve with chicken or banana sald. About 1 1/2 c

RASPBERRY MAYONNAISE

2 tbsp raspberry jelly
1/2 cup mayo
2 tbsp lemon juice
dash salt
1/4 cup cream, whipped

break up jelly with a fork. stir in mayo, lemon juice, and salt and fold in whipped cream. serve with fruit salads. about 1 c dressing

PEPPER ONION MAYONNAISE

1 clove garlic, cut
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tbsp chopped green pepper
1 tbsp chopped onion
1 tbsp chopped pimiento
2 tsp lemon juice
1/8 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 c mayo

rub bowl in which dressing is to be mixed with the cut side of garlic clove. add parsley, green pepper, onion, pimiento, lemon juice, and seasonings to mayo and mix well. serve with tossed green salads. about 1 1/4 c dressing

PEANUT MAYONNAISE

combine mayo with coarsley chopped salted peanuts in any desired proportion. This is good with plain head lettuce or with banana or apple salad

PEANUT BUTTER DRESSING

Add peanut butter to may, about 1 tbsp peanut butter to 1/4 cup mayo. blend thoroughly.

Hope those help.
