Recipe: Homemade Mayonnaise

Misc.

1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
2 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dry mustard
Blend all ingredients and then heat in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly so it doesn't stick to pan. Boil only until thickened. Cool in pan and then store in a sealed jar or other container.

It will be yellow in color and is a little on the sweet side. I take equal portions of it and mix with Miracle whip for a wonderful potato salad dressing.
