Recipe: Honey Glazed Snack Mix
Appetizers and SnacksHONEY GLAZED SNACK MIX
8 cups cereal (Chex, Crispix, Cheerios, any combination you like)
3 cups pretzels, minis, or broken sticks
2 cups nuts, salted or unsalted
2/3 cup butter
1/2 cup honey
In large bowl combine cereal, pretzels, and nuts. Set aside.
In small saucepan, melt butter, stir in honey and blend well. Pour over cereal mix and stir to coat. Spread into 2 well greased (or sprayed) 15 x 10 baking pans.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 12-15 minutes or until mixture looks slightly glazed, stirring occasionally. Cool in pan for 5 minutes.
Remove from pans and spread on wax paper to cool.
Store in airtight container. Will get sticky if left uncovered (I have high humidity).
