Recipe(tried): Hot Curried Fruits

I make this often for brunch entertaining. From America Cooks:-

Curried Fruits (Serves 18 to 20)
1-lb.4 oz. can peach halves
1-lb.4 oz.can pear halves
1-lb. 4 oz. apricots(halved or cut up)
1-lb. 4 oz. chunk pineapple
1/3 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsps. curry powder

Drain all fruit. Grease 3-qt. baking dish and Arrange fruit in it. Melt butter or margarine in small saucepan, remove from heat and stir in sugar and curry powder. Pour over fruit and let stand for 1 hour. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Serve warm.
I sometimes add a few maraschino cherries (drained) for a holiday touch.
