Recipe(tried): How to Sift Ricotta - I have information for you

Tips and Tricks - Cooking
ANNABELL:
Good morning. Anna, I am of Italian descent & I cannot help you with what you have described. I believe our learned will be able to help you her name is GLADYS,P/R.
I can tell you how to "SIFT RICOTTA" however. just pour the ricotta cheese into a pot that is lined with cheese-cloth. If you do not have cheese-cloth use a coffee filter. The idea is to drain the water only that is in the cheese. I am sorry that I cannot help you any further today. Good luck & have a nice day young lady.
