Recipe(tried): Kettle Corn
Misc.i have figured out how to make kettle korn but have not got the measurements exact for a recipe. i start with a large pan and cover the bottom with canola oil about 1/4 cup. i heat on med heat. i add one kernal off popcorn and wait till the oil is hot enough to pop. i remove the popped piece and add enough popcorn to cover the bottom of the pan. i then add about 1/2 to 1 cup of granulated sugar, yes to the oil and popcorn mixture. the consitency of oil and sugar should be runny not to thick, add more oil if dry. i put a lid on this and continue to shake every so often so as not to burn the corn mixture. it takes several minutes for the corn to start to pop. i lower the heat to med/med lo as the corn popping starts to speed up. as the popping starts to slow immediately take it off the burner. the popcorn will be hot and sticky with a slightly golden translucent color. transfer into a large bowl and in doing so salt the popcorn. this is the closest i've come to the recipe. it make take a couple of tries to fine tune it to your liking. good luck
