Recipe(tried): KYJoe's Personal Favorite Ramakis

Appetizers and Snacks
KYJOE'S DELICIOUS RAMAKI

This is a great appetizer.

2 cans water chestnuts
Bacon slices, cut into half
*Chicken or pork liver cut into small piece, optional
1/2 cup tomato catsup
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
*Tabasco just a touch, optional

Wrap 1/2 slice bacon and liver around the water chestnut and spear together with a round tooth pick.

Mix together the tomato catsup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar and a dash of Tabasco. Marinate water chestnuts in the sauce for 1 hour.

Place on broiler pan and bake in the oven at 375 degrees F until glazed. Don't broil! Just Bake. Bacon will shrink around the water chestnut, check often and when done remove from oven, let cool and place on serving plate.

Serve cool!

These I have made by the hundreds and they are always the first to go in a party. Go and have fun and everyone will ask you "what are those things"?

Bon Appetit
