Recipe: Lemon Cheese Chiffon (Jell-O recipe using cream cheese, blender)

LEMON CHEESE CHIFFON

1 (4 serving size) package JELL-O Brand lemon Flavor Gelatin
1 tablespoon sugar
3/4 cup boiling water
1 cup ice cubes
1 (3 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
canned pie filling or drained canned fruit (optional, for serving)

Combine gelatin, sugar and boiling water in blender container, Cover and blend at low speed until gelatin is dissolved, about 1 minute. Add ice and stir until partially melted. Add cheese; cover and blend at high speed until smooth, about 1 minute.

Pour into individual glasses or a serving bowl. Chill until set, about 30 minutes.

Top with canned pie filling or drained canned fruit, if desired.

Makes 2 1/2 cups or 5 servings
