Lemon-Pepper Pasta Dough Flavoring
recipelink.com Chat Room Recipe Swap - 2001-09-26

I used to make pasta at a fresh pasta shop and we would mix lemon pepper into the pasta dough. This doesn't give the pasta a really strong lemon flavor, but rather a slightly citrus-y pepper bite. I can't see any problem with mixing in fresh lemon juice for a stronger lemon flavor, though. A strongly flavored lemon pasta would be wonderful with a shrimp/prawn and butter sauce ... mmmm!
