Recipe(tried): Medallions Pork

Misc.

that I have made and it is very good.

MEDALLIONS OF PORK

1/2 pork tenderloin, sliced about 1/2 inch thick
2 Tablespoons cooking oil
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/3 cup minced green onion
1 minced garlic clove
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup white wine1 cup heavy cream

Saute medallions in hot oil, 2 minutes per side. Add the seasonings, onion, garlic and mushrooms. Cover pan and cook slowly for about 5 minutes. Maybe a bit more. Remove pork, and keep warm while making sauce. Pour wine in the pan. Bring to boil and reduce to half. Add the cream and cook to thicken. Return to pork to pan and baste. Serve with rice or noodles.
