Recipe: Melting Moments (with nuts)

Sharon, did you see the Melting Moments recipes posted below by Betsy in reply to a nother request. They sound close to one of the recipes you are requesting. (I hope)

If you don't find the exact recipe maybe one of these will do:

Melting Moments (with nuts)

1 c. unsifted flour
1/2 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
3/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 to 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts

Combine dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
In large bowl, beat butter until smooth.
Add dry ingredients and blend well.
Roll into 1 inch balls.
Place 1 1/2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten with a lightly floured fork.
Bake at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until edges
are golden.

Melting Moments

1 c. butter, melted
1 c. flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
3/4 c. cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring

Mix all ingredients.
Roll into balls and flatten.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350F until edges are light brown (8-10
minutes).
Cool completely and frost.

FROSTING

Combine:
1 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. orange juice
