Here is milk shake recipes from a 1965 Blender Cookbook - Calls them Soda Fountain Specials
Basic Vanilla Milk Shake
1 cup cold milk
1/2 pint vanilla ice cream
Put all ingredients in blender, cover and run on high for 30 seconds until smooth and fluffy. Makes 2 cups.
Variations: Add to Basic Vanilla Recipe
Extra Vanilla - Add 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Chocoate - Add 1/4 cup chocolate syrup or
use chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla
Strawberry - Add 1/2 cup sweetened fresh or frozen
strawberries
Banana - Add 1 ripe banana, peeled & cut into chunks
Mocha - Add 2 tsps. instant coffee and use chocolate
ice cream instead of vanilla
Malted - Add 1 Tab. malted milk powder to any of the
above shakes

Peach Milk Shake
2 cups milk
1/2 cup light cream
1 1lb can sliced peaches, drained
1/4 cup sugar
Dash salt
Nutmeg
Pour milk & cream into ice trays, freeze until edges are icy. Put drained peaches in blender, cover and puree. Add frozen milk and cream, sugar & salt; cover and run on low until smooth. Sprinkle with nutmeg. (4 servings)

Carnival Milk Shake
1 cup fruit cocktail, drained
1/2 pint vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup milk
Nutmeg
Puree 3/4 cup drained fruit cocktail, add ice cream and milk. Run on low until ice cream is soft. Pour into glasses. Top with reserved fruit cocktail. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

Frosty Shake
1 ripe banana
1 cup strawberry or raspberry yogurt
1 cup red raspberry sherbet
1 cup milk
Put all ingredients in blender and process on liquify for 10 seconds. Pour into 2 tall glasses. For and extra treat, float a scoop of sherbet on top of each.
