Recipe: Mixed Berry Streusel

Misc.
Mixed Berry Streusel
Here is a recipe I found in the Weight Watchers July/Aug 1998 magazine pg. 87.

Yield: 8 servings

4 1/2 cups assorted fresh berries (such as blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries)
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
Cooking spray
2/3 cup quick-cooking oats
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup all purpose flour
4 tablespoons chilled stick margarine, cut into small pieces

1. preheat overn to 375 degrees

2. Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl; toss gently. Spoon mixture into an 8-inch square baking pan coated with cooking spray. Combine oats, brown sugar, and 1/4 cup flour in a bowl; cut in margarine with a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkly oat mixture over berry mixture.

3. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until berry mixture is bubbly and oat mixture is lightly browned.
