NO-DRIPPINGS GRAVY
2 cups homemade or low-sodium chicken or turkey broth, divided use
2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
Dash of black pepper
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
In a saucepan over medium heat, add 1 1/2 cups broth, bouillon granules and pepper. Stir constantly until granules dissolve.
In a small bowl, stir together remaining 1/2 cup broth and flour with a wire whisk until smooth. Gradually stir flour mixture into broth. Bring to a boil. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.
Note: For a darker color, stir in a few drops of browning sauce, if desired.
Makes 8 servings
