ORIGINAL 13 OZ JAR KRAFT FANTASY FUDGE
6 cups sugar
3 sticks (1 1/2 cups) margarine
1 1/3 cups evaporated milk
2 pkgs. (12 oz. each) chocolate chips
1 (13 oz) jar marshmallow creme
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups chopped nuts (optional)
Combine sugar, margarine and milk in a heavy 5-quart Dutch oven; bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes over medium heat or until candy thermometer reaches 234 degrees F, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
Remove from heat; stir in chocolate chips until melted.
Add marshmallow creme, nuts and vanilla; beat until well-blended.
Pour into two greased 9x13-inch pans. Cool and cut into squares.
Makes 6 pounds
