Recipe: PB and J

Misc.

I've been mia for about a week or 2. I sometimes get into the same lunch funk,
it's just like a dinner slump. I too, send lunch everyday to school with my
daughter.(my son recently said-I want pb&j FOREVER...thank goodness).
I got a recipe off of TKL for cream cheese olive spread
posted by M. Phago
mix all together
8 oz. cream cheese
1/3 C chopped walnuts
1/2 C. green olives
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper
I've also tried kidney bean hummus
use 1 can beans, rinse, drain, mash with 1 Tbsp. ketchup and 2 Tbsp minced onion
tortillas
rolled with PB&J,
cheese and salsa,
tomato, cheese and lettuce
pitas filled with
zucchini, lettuce and mayo
tuna and tomatoes
Some days my little bubbie gets leftover cold pizza(homemade of course),
or yogurt, chick peas and a cheese stick.
I've read that you used to home school your kids and that now they go to a
Christian School...Bless you for raising decent kids...kids that will be taking
care of us when we are old...hopefully they won't put us in day-care...
My hat is off to you, I'm trying to do the same thing.
