Recipe: Peanut Butter Bars

Misc.
Hi Jackie,

Maybe this recipe is close. I'm not sure about the amount of sugar - I would cut it back to 3/4 to 1 cup sugar, but you might want to try it as it stands for the first batch.

Peanut Butter Bars

1/2 cup peanut butter
3 tbsp. margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup self rising flour

Soften or melt peanut butter and margarine, add all other ingredients.
Mix well, stirring by hand.
Grease and flour 13 x 9 pan dough in bottom of pan.
Bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Let cool in pan 10 minutes before cutting into bars or squares.

Happy Baking!
