Recipe: Peanut Butter Bars

Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
An old friend from school and I were just talking today about those peanut butter bars. WE LOVED THEM TOO! Last night I tried one that included graham cracker crumbs in the crust. They were good, but not what we are looking for. THey were not creamy. I think the following is the recipe:

PEANUT BUTTER BARS

10 ounces milk chocolate candy bars
1 (12 oz.) jar creamy peanut butter
3/4 cup butter, melted
1 (16 oz.) box confectioner's sugar

Melt chips or bars in double boiler or microwave.

In large bowl, mix peanut butter, butter, and sugar. Spoon mixture into a well buttered 9x13-inch pan. Butter hands and pat down mixture. Spread on chocolate. Refrigerate for one hour.

When ready to cut let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes, cut and then enjoy!!

Hope these are it. I think so and I'm going to try them this weekend!!

*My school used semi sweet chocolate chips I think. That is what I will try.
