Recipe: Mirro Velvet Cookies

Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
MIRRO VELVET COOKIES

1 cup butter or shortening
2 tbsp peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp almond extract
2 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Cream the shortening and peanut butter. Gradually add the sugar and cream well.

Add unbeaten egg and extract

Sift flour and baking powder. Add to creamed mixture a little at a time

Fill MIRRO cookie press and form cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake and 375 degrees F for 8-10 minutes.

Makes 5 dozen
