Recipe(tried): Pears with Marsala Wine

Menus

I experimented yesterday with pears from my pear tree. Here is what I did!

10 to 12 pears peeled and quartered
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. Marsala wine

Place pears in a large heavy saucepan. Add sugar, cinnamon, and wine. Cover and cook until tender. These are wonderful! The pears I used were the canning pears. Needed to cook them for quite a while as they were a cruncy hard pear!
