Recipe: Pickled Hot Dogs

Pickled Hot Dogs
4 (1 lb.) pkg. hot dogs, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 lg. onions, thinly sliced
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. salt
4 tsp. cumin
4 1/2 oz. pepper sauce
4 c. white vinegar
1 tsp. pickling spices
1 1/2 tsp. whole black pepper
Combine sliced onion with hot dogs. Mix rest of ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil 3 minutes. Put onions and hot dogs in a jar and pour sauce over them. Cover tightly. Refrigerate several days before serving.
