Appetizers and Snacks
Someone just recently was in search of a good authentic Pimento Cheese Spread....sorry it took so long to post this:

This spread can be used to stuff celery or cherry tomatoes that have been hollowed out for a nice party tray or as a terrific filling for sandwiched!!

1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, graded by hand
1 - 8oz. jar pimentos, drained and slightly chopped
1 - 8oz. Philadelphia cream cheese
3/4 cup Hellman's mayonnaise
1 scant teasp. granulated garlic
1 tabsp. Lea&Perrins worcestershire sauce
Tabasco to taste
1/2 teasp. freshly ground black pepper

Combine all ingred. in a deep mixing bowl and beat at medium speed for two minutes. Place in a galss bowl; cover tightly with plastic wrap and chill.

Serve with buttery type crackers of crusty bread.
