For a poodle cake, you could always bake two round cakes. Trim about 1 inch around the edge of one to make a head. Place next to the larger (body) and ice pink with buttercream frosting.
Use a decorators bag fitted with a large round tip and pipe out the shape of a snout and legs. You could even pipe out larger circles for the little puffs on the tail and legs that you see on trimmed poodles. I would however use something like ding dongs and place them where the puffs of fur should be. Then you just need to cover them with the pink icing.
Go back and trim out facial features, like an eye and mouth with black icing and a number 7 or 8 round icing tip.
I will keep looking for a pan or an easier way to do it, but this was just an idea! Good luck and I will post more if I can find it.
