Recipe(tried): Pizza on the BBQ
Pizza/FocacciaADVERTISEMENT
Shelby, We just put the pizza dough directly on the grill. This was how someone on the food network showed how to do it. We usually make individual pizzas. First we grill just the crust on one side for a few min. or until it looks somewhat cooked. Then we flip the crust over and cook for about half the time that we cooked the other side for so it is about halfway cooked. We remove them from the grill and bring them into the kitchen where everybody tops the most cooked side of their pizza to their own liking. Then we put them back on the grill (with the side down that is only halfway cooked) with the bbq cover down until the cheese is melted and the bottom of the crust appears to be cooked. I hope this helps you some.
