Recipe(tried): Plum Butter (crock pot)

I've made plum butter from canned plums, but I'm sorry I don't have a "real" recipe. I just dumped them in my crockpot with some sugar and a little cinnamon and let it cook, then tasted it and adjusted sugar and cinnamon (or whatever spices sound good).When it's thick enough you can freeze it or can it. This site has timetables for canning apple butter...plum butter would be the same.
