Recipe(tried): Quick Fruit Fried Pies
Misc. Marie:
When I am in a hurry, I use canned biscuits, rolled thin and canned pie filling. Dampen and seal the edges and fry for a few minutes until lightly browned. Drain on paper towels and glaze with a powdered sugar glaze when cooled. If I have time, I make my own applie pie filling, as if it were for a regular pie, except cook it on top of the stove until the apples are cooked. I then let it cool and use it to fill the dough. Be careful not to use too much filling, because it will spew out when it is fried.
