Recipe: Red Hots Salad

MOM'S APPLESAUCE-CINNAMON SALAD
1 package red jello
1/2 cup red hots
1 cup boiling water
2 1/2 cups applesauce

Mix above and pour half of mixture into 9X9 pan. Congeal.( Keep other half at
room temperature)

Mix:
1 8 ounce package cream cheese
1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans)
2 tablespoons mayonaise

Spread cream cheese mixture over congealed salad and pour rest of applesauce
mixture over. Chill until firm.
