Recipe(tried): Sausage Appetizer

Appetizers and Snacks
Magaret, I found this receipe somewhere on the internet a few weeks ago. I made 6 batches for several parties. I got rave reviews on every one.

Sausage Appetizer
8 oz jar prepared sweet and sour sauce
2 cups ketchup
1 lb. bacon
2 cups dark brown sugar
2 rings kielbasa ( or your favorite sausage)
Cut sausage into 1 inch chunks. Cut bacon stripsintwo, short way. Wrap each sausage chunk with bacon stip and spear closed with a toothpick. Place meat in 9X13 pan. Bake covered for 30 mins. at 325 degrees F. Stir sauce ingredients together and brush over meat. Bake 45 mins. more uncovered or until the sauce caramelizes on the meat. Makes approx. 30 appetizers. They are out of this world!.
