Recipe: Kielbasa Appetizer

Appetizers and Snacks
Hi Margaret,

Here's one recipe for you:

Kielbasa Appetizer

2 lb. kielbasa, cut into 1/2 inch slices
Approx 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 can pineapple chunks in unsweetened juice

Place kielbasa in microwave-safe bowl.
Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over meat.
Drain pineapple chunks and add 1/4 cup of the juice to the kielbasa.
Toss mixture until pieces are well coated.
Cover bowl loosely with plastic wrap.
Microwave on high about 2 to 3 minutes.
Repeat if necessary until kielbasa is cooked.
Arrange kielbasa slices on a serving tray; placing pineapple chunks around uniformly.
Pour remaining brown sugar sauce into small bowl to use for dipping.
You may also serve with small bowls of mustard and horseradish.

Happy Cooking,

Betsy
