Recipe: Soda pop jelly

Misc.
I am assuming you mean Mountain Dew like soda pop.

Here goes:

3 cups sugar
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup soda pop
1/2 bottle liquid pectin
(I assume this is the same as one pouch,it used to come in a bottle, but now has 2 pouches)

Combine sugar, water, soda pop. Heat rapidly to boiling.Add pectin, stir constantly before and after it comes to a full rolling boil. Boil hard 1/2 minute.Remove from heat. Skim foam, pour into jars and seal in boiling water bath for 10 minutes. You might adjust the amount of soda pop to tase, reducing water.

I do not have a recipe for carmel apple jelly, but do have one for caramel apple butter if you would like it. The only other thing I can suggest if you want jelly is to use bottled apple juice, follow recipe for jelly and add some unwrapped caramels or a carmel extract and see what happens.
