Recipe: Steaks with Jack Daniels Peppercorn Rub (blender)

Main Dishes - Beef and Other Meats
STEAK WITH JACK DANIELS PEPPERCORN RUB

3 tablespoons pink peppercorns
2 tablespoons black peppercorns
2 tablespoons white peppercorns (You can actually buy them pre-mixed at the grocery store)
1 teaspoon whole yellow mustard seeds
1 teaspoon whole coriander seeds
2 tablespoons finely diced shallots
1 teaspoon dried dill, crumbled
3 tablespoons Jack Daniels or other bourbon
1 tablespoon honey

Combine peppers, mustard seeds, and coriander in a blender and grind until coarse. Place in a glass bowl and add shallots and dill.

In a separate bowl, combine bourbon and honey. Brush onto up to 1 lb of steaks. Press the spice mix into the surface of the steak and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

Grill or broil as usual.
