Recipe(tried): SUNDAY DINNER AT OUR HOUSE

Misc.
Today for lunch we had: Easy Baked Ham with Easy Pineapple Glaze, scalloped potatoes, Baked Potato Salad, zipper cream peas, Never-Fail Biscuits, CLAUSSEN Pickles, Yummy Banana Nut Bread, sweet tea with lemon, Aunt Nelli's Pickled Beets (available in jars), and Mama's Punch.EASY BAKED HAM

1 large ham--7-9 pounds--bone in
2 cups peach nectar
2 cups Coke
1 T. flour
1 Reynolds Plastic Cooking Bag

Put the flour into the cooking bag and set aside. Rinse the ham and place it in the cooking bag. Mix the peach nectar and the Coke together and pour over the ham. Make 6 1" holes in the cooking bag. Roast slowly at 300 degrees for 3 hours in an Aroma or Nesco oven. If you don't have an Aroma or Nesco oven, place the cooking bag with the ham inside in a 9X13" pan and roast for 3 hours in the oven. Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing. EASY PINEAPPLE GLAZE

1 cup crushed pineapple
2 T. honey mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar

Put these ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 5 minutes. After microwaving the glaze, test-taste it and see if it's sweet enough or if it needs more mustard. Adjust the ingredients to suit your family's taste. Serve over ham.NEVER FAIL BISCUITS

1 1/4 cup self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 cup heavy cream

Mix together. Slowly add more flour to the mixture if needed. Spray a cookie sheet with PAM. Drop the biscuits on the sprayed cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. (This recipe calls for 2 T. of sugar to be added. I adjusted the sugar because it was just too sweet. If you like sweet biscuits, add 2 T. of sugar.ISLAND BANANA BREAD

3 cups self-rising flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon (I used 1/2 tsp.)
1 cup chopped pecans
2 cups mashed bananas(about 4-5 large, ripe bananas)
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
1 cup crushed pineapple--with juice
2 tsps. vanilla extract

Mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, and pecans together. Blend together the mashed bananas, eggs, oil, crushed pineapple, and vanilla extract. Pour the banana mixture into the bowl containing the flour mixture and mix thoroughly. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans. Pour half of the mixture into each pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 5 minutes or until a knife inserted into the bread comes out clean.MAMA'S PUNCH

1 pkg. strawberry Kool-Aid
1 pkg. orange Kool-Aid
2 cups sugar
1 large can pineapple juice

Pour the contents of the Kool-Aid pkgs. into a one-gallon pitcher. Add the sugar and the pineapple juice. Fill to the top of the pitcher with cold water. Place into the refrigerator and serve cold. (I use plastic Coke bottles that have been rinsed out. When we have finished with the punch, we throw the bottle away.)

Enjoy the recipes and happy Sunday!
