Recipe(tried): Sunday Dinner at Our House - Mile-High Pizza, Quick and Easy Pizza Dough (bread machine)

Menus
Since we aren't celebrating Father's Day nor my husband's birthday today because he is on a business trip, we had an easy Sunday Dinner today. For lunch today we had: Mile-High Pizza, cold watermelon chunks, cold cantaloupe slices, sweet tea with lemon, and peach pie.

MILE-HIGH PIZZA

Quick and Easy Pizza Dough (Bread Machine)
2/3 cup water
1 1/2 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups bread flour
1 1/2 tsps. yeast

Put all ingredients in the bread pan according to the machine's directions and set the machine on the dough cycle. When the dough is finished being kneaded, remove from pan, cover with a dish towel or plastic wrap, and allow to rest for 15 minutes.

Roll or stretch the dough into a 14-inch circle. Place on a greased baking sheet.

Top with the toppings of your choice, and bake in a preheated 500 degreen oven for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and the toppings are bubbling.

Toppings for Mile-High Pizza

1/2 lb. Italian sausage, crumbled, cooked, and drained
pepperoni slices
1/4 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
1/4 yellow bell pepper, cut into thin strips
8-10 black olives, sliced
7-8 fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 1/4 cups mozzarella cheese
1/2 jar of pizza sauce

Top the pizza dough with--pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, red and yellow bell peppers, black olives, and fresh mushrooms.

This pizza is easy and delicious!

Happy Father's Day!
