Recipe(tried): Texas Style Mexican Rice

TEXAS STYLE MEXICAN RICE

1 cup (uncooked) rice
2 tbsp oil
1 small bell pepper, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 cup water
1 (6 oz) can tomato sauce, divided use
1 cube chicken bouillon
2 tsp cumin

In a saucepan brown the rice in oil.

Add bell pepper, onion, and garlic and saute.

Add water, about half of can of tomato sauce, and chicken bouillon; stir well. Add cumin on top do not stir anymore.

Cover and cook until water is almost dried up, usually about 15 minutes.

Turn heat to warm and let sit at least 10 minutes before stirring.
