Recipe: Thick 'n Chicken Soup

Thick 'n Chicken Soup
Source: Goya
Servings: 6-8

2 tablespoons olive oil
5 cups water
1 teaspoon Goya Adobo with Pepper
1 cup lentils
1 cup barley
1 (16 ounce) can whole tomatoes, cut up
1 cup sliced onions
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup sliced celery
1 package Goya Sazon sin Achiote
2 cups chopped, cooked chicken

In soup pot, heat oil until hot. Saute vegetables on medium heat until onions wilt. Cover and cook 3 minutes more.

Add water, bouillon, Adobo, Sazon and bring to a boil.

Add barley and lentils, simmer 20 minutes.

Add chicken and tomatoes and heat through.
