Recipe: Toasty Crab Appetizers (using sliced bread)

TOASTY CRAB APPETIZERS

1/2 pound crabmeat, cooked, cartilage removed
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
2 teaspoons lemon juice
6 slices white bread, toasted, crusts removed
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon dry bread crumbs

Combine crabmeat, mayonnaise, mustard and lemon juice.

Spread crab mixture on each slice of toast.

Combine cheese and bread crumbs; sprinkle over crabmeat mixture. Cut each slice into 6 pieces.

Place on a broiler pan 3 inches from heat. Broil for 2 minutes until brown.

Makes 36 appetizers
