Recipe: Very Vegetable Soup (using macaroni and canned tomatoes)
SoupsVERY VEGETABLE SOUP
2 cans (14 1/2 oz. each) vegetable broth
1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves, crushed
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 (about 14 1/2 oz.) can whole peeled tomatoes, cut up
1 cup uncooked corkscrew macaroni
1 (15 oz.) can Veg-All Mixed Vegetables
In saucepan mix broth, basil, garlic powder and tomatoes. Over medium-high heat, heat to a boil. Stir in macaroni. Cook over low heat 10 minutes or until macaroni is done, stirring often.
Add mixed vegetables and heat through.
Makes 6 servings
