Recipe: Waldorf Twist (using apple and celery, juicer)

Beverages
WALDORF TWIST

1 Red or Golden Delicious organic apple, washed
3 organic celery stalks with leaves, washed*
1/4 lemon, washed or peeled if not organic

Cut the apple into sections that will fit your juicer's feed tube. Juice it with the celery and lemon. Stir the juice and pour into a glass.

Serve at room temperature or chilled, as desired.

Nutrisip: Celery juice has been used traditionally as a calming agent, to strengthen frayed nerves, and to reduce hypertension.

*Note: Do not store celery in the refrigerator for longer than three weeks. Studies show old celery has caused cancer in animals. Always discard wilted or brown celery.

Makes about 8 ounces
