FOR A 1 1/2 LB. LOAF:
1/2 cup water
2/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons oil
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup sugar
3 1/3 cups bread flour
FOR THE YEAST:
2 1/4 teaspoons RED STAR Active Dry Yeast
OR
1 1/2 teaspoons RED STAR OUICK RISE Yeast
OR
1 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
ADD AT THE BEEP:
1/2 cup candied fruit
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
FOR A 2 LB. LOAF:
1/3 cup water
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons oil
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/3 cup sugar
4 cups bread flour
FOR THE YEAST:
1 tablespoon RED STAR Active Dry Yeast
OR
2 teaspoons RED STAR OUICK RISE Yeast
OR
2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
ADD AT THE BEEP:
2/3 cup candied fruit
2/3 cup chopped walnuts
Use Sweet cycle.
